IRIDESCENT SHADES

The latest additions to the TOBYhouse lighting range exploit the incredible colour changing properties of iridescent multi-chromatic surfaces.

Sheets of a custom made unique prismatic card-stock are pleated into three-dimensional faceted geometric lampshades.

(This material is unique to TOBYhouse and is not available commercially - you wont see it around!))

The concertina structures have a beautiful metallic pink and pale blue when the sahed is not lit, but really come alive when lit up.

Internal lighting causes a whole myriad of vivid colour effects that shift and move according to your viewpoint.

The new Iridescent range was launched initially in two pre-folded pendant shade forms: the "Boule” (h35cm) and the “Tulip” (h33cm).

Both come pre-creased flat packed. You simply strectch out the concertina and close the loop. They are really easy to assemle at home.
